I always enjoy seeing how my children view the world, their thoughts, their perceptions, it's always interesting, and often funny, or endearing.
I have a very old point and shoot camera, and I decided to let my boys use it for a little photo walk, I wanted to see what they found interesting enough to take photos of, and of course, view life from their angle! Here's some shots from the walk:
Taken by my 8 year old, it's me and my other son, Gunnar.
The Volksfest was getting ready to start up, and my oldest, Odin was all about the Ferris wheel!
Taken by Gunnar, my 7 year old. Most of his came out blurry, but I really liked this one!
We had such a great time taking photos and talking about the things we were taking photos of, we only went around a few blocks, but it took us quite awhile to do it. I really am thinking of doing this more often.
I would suggest for anyone with kids to do this, as it's really a great way of seeing what your child finds interesting, and it makes great memories! You can even make little photobooks, or scrapbooks for them to appreciate when they are older!
